Creating an Angel Halo

Hi guys...
I need to create a stylized angel halo for my supernatural web series, Morgan's Corner. I've attached an image I made a while ago in photoshop with the kind of feel I'm looking for. I don't want anything cartoony or clunky - more wispy, energized and etherial. Any ideas? I'm using Pro 2017 with all the bells and whistles. Thanks in advance for pointing me towards the light!
