Resize to fit timeline in composite shot.

Hello,

I have created a composite shot with the same dimensions as the timeline. When I try and put a photo in the shot (of a different resolution to the timeline), I see no option to resize to fit the timeline (as would be the case if I placed it directly in the timeline). Where can I find this option?

Thanks,

Joseph.

I see how you can change the scale but not how to get it to exactly fit that of the timeline.

    Thanks,

    Joseph.

    You can't directly.

You can make a new Composite shot of the photo at the same size as on the Editor timeline after you make it 'Fit to Frame' (or Fit to Frame Width or Frame Height) by selecting Editor Sequence and Move with Clip on the two options that popup when you first create the Composite shot.

Then create a new Composite Shot - or using an existing one - and drag that Comp of the Image into it; where it will retain its scale values.

     Thanks, never thought of that.
