Need help creating these effects
And yes Inscape Digital, I know how to mask and overlay UI shots now.
This is for Hitfilm 4 Express
1. The portal effect used by Blink in Days Of Future Past where it shows the scene in the portal from one camera angle, when in fact that scene could be happening right next to her.
2. How to walk through a portal. (If there's a green screen method, it's ok, but I'd ideally prefer no keying)
3. A sonic scream effect (where the waves warble out, like Black Canary).
4. The Cyclops/Superman eye laser where it's a continous laser being fired (I don't have the lightsaber pack so I cannot do it with that pack)
5. The Beast effect where the skin colour changes.

Portal Combat - by Film Riot & HitFilm:
3) Radio Waves in an embedded composite shot driving a Displacement Map.
4) Use the Lightning effect. Turn down twitch and wavescale until you have straight lines.
5) Rotoscoping and color grade effect of choice. Lots of masking.

So for Beastie, I need to decrease the feather strength to make it look natural.
Also if I'm transforming while moving, how do I create a mask which follows a tracker?

I saw the portal combat thing, I don't think it mentions about walking through portals.

Portal Combat:
It has some different information from the Hitfilm playlist. And I know somewhere they discuss going through the portal, because they did greenscreen. Large rolls of green paper with an oval cutout.
