In the how to create a stormtrooper army video, the 3d model you use had to be uncompressed. How do you uncompress it, because I wanted to test it out but I couldn't figure out how to uncompress the file. If it matters, I am using Mac.
Um. I responded to this???
Rar Extractor or Mac's Archive Utility
So did I... with the same link Triem posted. Got an error message that said my post needed to be approved. Waddupwiddat? @Triem23
@SteveKarstensen @GrayMotion moderators aren't FxHome Staff, so I could say "beats me." But, if you remember about a year ago we had that three week period with hundreds of thousands of spam posts? Staff cranked up the spam filters to 11, so, sometimes posts get flagged incorrectly.
I'm not certain what triggers it. Did you guys write a post or just paste the link without comment?
Figured it was spam filter. Comment held for approval usually is. I posted and added a lifehack link. Probably the culprit right there.Looks like @RaghavBhat has what they need though :-)

Just pasted the link. That's probably what did it. I do indeed remember our Korean casino-shilling friends.
You have to have an extractor installed. Either use RAR Extractor or Archive Utility native to the Mac. https://www.lifewire.com/control-compression-using-mac-hidden-archive-utility-2260851
There are ways to open 7z files on Mac, you can use Unarchiever from App Store, safe third-party tools, or the online Unarchiver. Here are the top 3 articles from Google, all are useful and safe links, you can check detailed steps:
I have tried these ways and they work well.
@aliciacia this post is over 3 years old, and I imagine OP has sorted their problem, so I'm going to close this thread.
