Buffering video
I am editing a video. This is for very first time. I get clips from a movie then when I play it buffers; pause then play pause then play. just like a pirate CD. Any explanation about this and could I fix it? how?

What are your computer specs? Also- do you know what the size of the video is? Finally- try reducing the video playback res- you can set it to 1/2, 1/4 or antialiased.

Right-click each clip in the media panel, and select "Make Proxy." It can take a while, but it'll be way faster afterwards.
If it's still slow, try what Behind_The_Lens recommended.
