How can I type double dot (:) in the text?
I mean, it doesn't appear in the textbox, when I type shift+doubledot button. Why is it?
What font are you using? Some do not support all characters, I know. That would be my knee jerk assumption, so I would try changing the font a few times to see if they show up in others. But I am by no means an expert on Hitfilm, so that's a best guess answer.
tddavis asked: What font are you using?
The first given character hitfilm4express gives me.
Still looking for an answer. I wanted to insert this (:), but I couldn't. I had to avoid using the double dot.
@ambrozytomi what keyboard layout are you using? What OS are you running and in what language?
I use Hungarian qwertz keyboard with win 10. The Hungarian characters appear normally, it's only just this one.
@ambrozytomi Thank you for providing more info. This is an issue in HitFilm where the character you are typing is triggering a shortcut (in your case the next frame shortcut). I will log it internally and try fixing it.
In the meantime, I suggest you copy and paste the : character (use the Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V shortcut). It's not ideal but it works. Sorry about the inconvenience...
Thank you very much!
