Street Fighter II Parody

I'm currently writing a short (5min) Street Fighter II parody, and have been playing around with some of the various effects that I'm going to need. so far it mainly looks like it's going to be Ryu vs Guile.
I've made an energy ball that I'm looking to modify into the Hadouken.
I've also make a sonic boom that I'm going to start playing with. I want it to look good.
Any and all criticism and advice would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I also made a title screen for my "production company" Angry Lugan Media.

Very cool.  I like them. In my opinion, these need grit, imperfection, and menace. They look pretty, and I want to stare at them.  Make them so angry, frightening, and dangerous that I want to run from them.
Hadouken: It's very clean, and perfectly round.  Will it have flames/spikes of energy tearing off as it travels through the air?
Sonic Boom: Great movement. It's very immaculate and smooth.  Dirty it up. How about glare from the brightness, energy particles, or some sharpness.
    I love the logo.

The energy ball currently is very recognisable from our tutorial, so I'd recommend more customisation to make it your own.
With Street Fighter effects, it's going to be the skill of compositing them into live action that makes or breaks it.
