Viewport orbit function reversed

When holding alt+mouse up or down, the viewport is orbiting in reverse to most 3d software.
When mousing down you should see the model from the top slowly.
Mousing up will be slowly showing the bottom of the model.
Try it in 3dmax, lw, modo.
Is there a way to reverse? HF way is very disorienting.
