Good but cheaper cameras?

I was looking for a newer camera, but not wanting to spend really over 400.00 USA dollars, so anyone got any good advice on this? Thanks, Chad

Hello guitar74 what are you going to use this camera for?
If that is your budget, I would go with a point and shoot Canon S95 excellent Video Quality 720p at 24fsp,
2.0f-stop, good for low light/ fast lens , exposure lock, SH format storage(use a 16gig card form about 102 minutes of video. this is a good carry around camera. if money is no object go for the entry level T2I from canon.
That is suggestion(I like the 24fps look, gives you that film look).
    look around for video reviews.

You can find the Canon T1i on sale now since the T2i and the T3 are out in the market.
Also you can always go to QVC and get a good camera on a payment plan.
They have the 7D as well.
