Hi guys!
What would be the best way to make a missile hitting a surface look realistic and not just the missile disappearing?
And also, how do I animate movement of the different parts of a 3D object?
Merry Holidays!

Just add a HUGE EXPLOSION to hide the missile disappearing. :P
It would depend quite a bit on what the surface is, the size of the missile, the angle of the shot, etc. etc.
A missile hitting the ground, for example, will be very different from a missile hitting the side of a glass skyscraper. A 9-foot Sidewinder missile will be very different from a 100-foot Titan ICBM.

Ok, I get your point ;)
Well, I was just messing around with the free 3d rocket you got for Thanksgiving!
So, say it's coming from the upper right corner and hits the ground.
(I'm still quite bad at this, but I'm doing what I can to get better!)
    Thanks!

About the Shatter effect, a nice tutorial would do a LOT! I'm finding it rather difficult to make it "shatter" exactly as wanted. But the things you showed in the post you linked were good! But as I said, I'm still learning!

    That would be FANTASTIC!
