I would love to see more audio reactive features. Even being able to scale an object based on an adjustable input frequency input be AMAZING. After effects is compatible with trapcode soundkeys, but I just simply cant justify Adobes recurring monthly price.
I know I cant be the only musician who wishes this would become a reality.
If possible, a little more access to tracking parameters in the Motion Track behavior? I'm assuming it's point tracking using Optical Flow?
Anyways, like classic 1 and 2 tracking, it might be helpful to have settings like "Error Tolerance" and "Iterations."
I have been using HitFilm Express for the past few months and I have loved it so far, especially after getting a new PC with a better GPU. But I realized that I would love a mobile version of the software for iPad. This would be great when you simply are away from home(Road trips, Vacations, etc.) and don’t have a laptop. My idea is a version that has the same features as the desktop version, but is optimized for the smaller touchscreen and isn’t as power-consuming.
These changes might include:
Changing some things around that work better for a touch-screen
Optimize the view and masking so that you can still get the same precision without spending half an hour to do so.
Give the preview a limited resolution according to the device, but still allow exporting at higher resolutions.
Also add keyboard shortcuts for those who have a keyboard
And, one more thing, plz allow offline use for those lengthy Road-trips, which is probably THE most convenient time to have this version.😀
I've searched for a way to change numbers that's easier than to animate them with masks but i've failed.
I think a numbers effect would be helpful for creating counters or random numbers. It can be a simple slider ("value") that takes it's value and appears as text, keyframing the value makes the number change so a counter requires just a couple of keyframes. The text parameters would be needed (position, size, font, spacing, etc).
Some "advanced" controls can be adding prefix and sufix (like for a $ sign or units like grams), number of decimals, rounding, steps, activate or deactivate and customize punctuation (for like 1.000 instead of 1000 or changing between '.' or ',' in the decimal separator).
I would love an effect like this or a different way to do that stuff, it will help a lot of Motion Graphic Artists.
I am a newbie in Hitfilm so this is maybe completely wrong
If I time stretch in Vegas Pro I hold the control key and alter the speed of my timeline
If I time stretch in Hitfilm I can do this with pressing "S"
Fine by me ...no problem ,
but when I don't press the "S" any more it is still in the rate stretch mode
And I have to reset this mode by clicking the pointer ...Why ???
It would be more simpler if the stretch mode ends when you stop pressing the "S" key
The default - Timeline name and time code - is a useful and logical choice, but a custom option would be nice, instead of changing the exported file's name through the OS
I would like to see true IBL added to Hitfilm at some point. Currently environment lighting appears to use the light from the general image itself and not the direct position of the lighting in the image.
Ideally this would be implement best inside the 3D model module (to change the environment lighting of the model based on a specific image you pick instead of using the stock environment image that is already there) AND in the Material/Environment slot of the model layers properties with an option to display the specific environment (override slot) of the one placed in the comp.
-3D Model Module- ability to load different Environment map with a button option to turn background display on/off
-3D Model Layer Properties - ability to load background plate as well as a dropdown selection to Override the background with a different environment map other than the one you may use in the 3D Model Module.
